Once upon a time, our Monkey King, after defeating the Demon King of Confusion and snatching a big knife, returned to Flower Fruit Mountain. But he didn't just sit around. Every day, he practiced martial arts and even taught the little monkeys how to make spears from bamboo and carve swords from wood. He even created flags and whistles, turning their place into a miniature military camp. However, one day, he sat down and thought, "We're just having fun here, but what if the human kings or the beast kings in the mountains find out and think we're rebelling? You little guys with your bamboo sticks and wooden swords won't stand a chance! We need real weapons!" The monkeys were scared and said, "You're right, King, but where can we get these weapons?" Just then, four old monkeys came over, two were red-bottomed horseshoe monkeys, and two were long-armed gibbons. They said, "King, getting weapons is actually quite simple." Wukong asked, "How so?" The old monkeys replied, "If you go 200 miles east from our mountain, there's the Kingdom of Aolai. The king there surely has many craftsmen who can make weapons from gold, silver, copper, and iron. You could go there to buy some or have them made, and then teach us to use them to protect our territory." Wukong was delighted and said, "You all stay here and play; I'll be back soon."

Our Monkey King immediately somersaulted on a cloud and flew over 200 miles of water. Sure enough, he saw a city bustling with people, with six streets and three markets. Wukong thought, "There must be ready-made weapons here. Instead of buying, I might as well use my magic to find some." So, he made a gesture, chanted a spell, took a deep breath towards the southeast, and blew out, creating a fierce wind that terrified everyone.

This was no ordinary wind. It darkened the sky, churned the rivers and seas, and scared the fish, shrimp, and crabs into hiding. The tigers and wolves in the forests ran for cover. All trade stopped, and the streets were empty. The king hid in his inner chambers, and all the civil and military officials fled. Even the throne was blown over, and the Five Phoenix Tower swayed. The king and people of Aolai Kingdom were so frightened that they shut their doors, not daring to step outside. Only then did Wukong descend from the clouds, storm into the royal gate, and head straight for the armory. He opened the door to find it filled with weapons: swords, spears, halberds, axes, hooks, and forkseverything imaginable. He exclaimed, "How much can I carry alone? Better use my cloning technique to move them!" So, he plucked a hair, chewed it up, spat it out, chanted a spell, and shouted, "Transform!" Instantly, hundreds of little monkeys appeared. The stronger ones carried five to seven weapons, while the weaker ones took two or three, clearing out the entire armory. Then he hopped on a cloud, used his magic to summon the wind, and flew back with the little monkeys.

Meanwhile, the monkeys on Flower Fruit Mountain were playing outside the cave when they heard the wind and saw countless monkeys flying overhead, scaring them into a frenzy. After a while, the Monkey King landed, dispelled the clouds, shook himself to retrieve his hairs, and piled the weapons in front of the mountain, shouting, "Come and get your weapons!" The monkeys saw Wukong standing there alone and rushed over, bowing and asking what happened. Wukong recounted the whole adventure of using the wind to transport the weapons. The monkeys thanked him and eagerly grabbed swords, snatched spears, tugged bows, and played with crossbows all day.

The next day, they began organizing into formations. Wukong gathered all the monkeys and counted over 47,000 of them. This stirred the entire mountain's beasts: wolves, tigers, leopards, deer, foxes, lions, elephants, orangutans, bears, wild boars, antelopes, and even the demon kings of the seventy-two caves came to pay their respects to the Monkey King, offering tributes and reporting each season. Some joined in the training, while others helped gather supplies, turning Flower Fruit Mountain into an impregnable fortress. Various demon kings sent golden drums, colorful flags, and armor, making the place lively with daily martial drills.

The Monkey King was quite pleased, but suddenly said to everyone, "You've all become quite skilled with the bows and crossbows, and you're good with the weapons, but this big knife of mine is too cumbersome and not to my liking. What should I do?" At this moment, four old monkeys stepped forward and said, "Great King, you are a sage and immortal; ordinary weapons naturally don't suit you. But can you go underwater?" Wukong laughed and said, "Ever since I learned the Way, I've mastered the 72 transformations and the somersault cloud, with the ability to become invisible and travel anywhere, be it heaven or earth, impervious to water and fire. There's nowhere I can't go." The four old monkeys said, "Since you have such abilities, the water under our Iron Bridge leads to the Dragon Palace of the East Sea. If you go there and ask the Old Dragon King for a suitable weapon, wouldn't that be perfect?" Hearing this, Wukong was delighted and said, "Then I'll go and take a look."

So, our Monkey King leaped to the bridgehead, performed a water-closing spell, made a gesture, and with a splash, dove into the water, parting the waves as he headed straight for the Dragon Palace of the East Sea. As he was traveling, a sea patrol yaksha suddenly stopped him and asked, "Who is this deity riding the waves? State your name, so I can report and welcome you properly." Wukong replied, "I am Sun Wukong, the Heaven-born Sage of Flower Fruit Mountain, a neighbor of your Old Dragon King. How come you don't recognize me?" The yaksha, upon hearing this, quickly ran to the Crystal Palace to deliver the message: "Great King, there's a Heaven-born Sage from Flower Fruit Mountain named Sun Wukong outside, claiming to be your neighbor, here to visit." The Dragon King of the East Sea, Ao Guang, hurriedly got up, bringing along dragon sons and grandsons, shrimp soldiers, and crab generals to greet him: "Please come in, Immortal, please come in." After entering the palace and exchanging pleasantries over tea, the Dragon King asked, "When did the Immortal attain the Way, and what kind of magic have you learned?" Wukong replied, "Since my birth, I've been cultivating and have attained an indestructible body. Recently, while teaching my offspring and guarding my mountain, I found myself lacking a suitable weapon. I heard that you, my virtuous neighbor, enjoy the treasures of the Jade Palace and Shell Pavilion, so I came to request one." The Dragon King, unable to refuse, ordered the Gui Commander to bring out a large knife. Wukong said, "I don't use knives; can I try something else?" The Dragon King then had the Ba Captain and the Shan Warrior carry out a nine-pronged fork. Wukong jumped down, took it, tried it out, and then set it aside, saying, "Light! Light! Light! It doesn't fit my hand! Let's try another." The Dragon King laughed and said, "Immortal, this fork weighs 3,600 pounds!" Wukong said, "It doesn't fit! It doesn't fit!" The Dragon King, now a bit anxious, had the Yu Inspector and Li General bring out a square-headed halberd, which weighed 7,200 pounds. Wukong took it, wielded it a few times, and then planted it in the ground, saying, "Still light! Light! Light!" The Old Dragon King grew even more worried and said, "Immortal, this halberd is the heaviest weapon in my palace; there are no others." Wukong laughed and said, "As the saying goes, 'The Dragon King of the Sea is never without treasure!' Please look again. If there's something suitable, I'll surely pay for it." The Dragon King said, "Truly, there is nothing else."

Just then, the Dragon Queen and the Dragon Princess came forward and said, "Great King, judging by this sage's appearance, he is no ordinary being. In our sea treasury, there is a divine iron from the bottom of the Milky Way, recently emitting radiant light and auspicious energy. Perhaps it's meant to appear now, just in time for this sage?" The Dragon King said, "That is a stabilizing piece used by Yu the Great to measure the depth of rivers and seas; it's a divine iron piece. What use could it have?" The Dragon Queen said, "Regardless of its use, let's give it to him. Let him transform it as he pleases and take it out of the palace." The Old Dragon King, upon hearing this, relayed the information to Wukong. Wukong said, "Bring it out for me to see." The Dragon King shook his head and said, "It's too heavy to carry or lift! Immortal, you'll have to see it for yourself." Wukong said, "Where is it? Take me to see it." The Dragon King indeed led him to the sea treasury, where golden light shone in all directions. The Dragon King pointed and said, "That glowing item is it." Wukong rolled up his sleeves, approached, and touched it. It turned out to be an iron pillar, about as thick as a rice bowl and over two zhang long. He grasped it with both hands, saying, "Too thick and long! It'd be better if it were shorter and thinner." As he spoke, the treasure indeed shortened by several feet and thinned by a circle. Wukong hefted it again, saying, "Even thinner would be perfect!" The treasure truly became even thinner. Wukong was delighted, took it out of the sea treasury, and saw that it had golden bands at both ends with a section of black iron in the middle; near the bands was an inscription reading "Ruyi Jingu Bang," weighing 13,500 pounds. He was secretly overjoyed, thinking, "This treasure is just to my liking!" As he walked, he thought and muttered, hefting it in his hand, "Even shorter and thinner would be ideal!" By the time he took it outside, it was only two zhang long and as thick as a rice bowl.

You see, our Monkey King, wielding his newly acquired treasure, was causing quite a stir in the Crystal Palace, making the Old Dragon King tremble with fear, the little dragon sons panic, and the turtles and turtles shrink their necks, while the fish, shrimp, and crabs all hid away. Sitting in the grand hall of the Crystal Palace, Wukong held the Ruyi Jingu Bang and laughed, saying to the Dragon King, "Thank you, dear neighbor, for your generous gift." The Dragon King hurriedly replied, "Not at all, not at all." Wukong continued, "This iron rod suits me well, but I have another request." The Dragon King asked, "What else does the Immortal require?" Wukong said, "Now that I have this iron rod, I lack matching armor. What should I do? If you have any armor here, why not give me a set as well? I'd be grateful." The Dragon King, a bit troubled, said, "I'm afraid I don't have any." Wukong laughed, "A guest shouldn't trouble two hosts. If there's none, I won't leave." The Dragon King suggested, "Perhaps you could visit the other seas and see if you can find some." Wukong insisted, "It's better to sit in one place than to visit three. I still hope you can offer me a set." The Old Dragon King, somewhat flustered, said, "Please, Immortal, don't act rashly! I'll ask my brothers if they have any and send you a set." Wukong asked, "Where are your brothers?" The Dragon King replied, "My brothers are the Dragon Kings of the South Sea, Ao Qin; the North Sea, Ao Shun; and the West Sea, Ao Run." Wukong said, "I'm not going! As the saying goes, 'A promise from three is not as good as seeing two.' I still hope you can gather a set here." The Old Dragon King said, "You needn't go. I have an iron drum and a golden bell here. In case of emergency, if I strike the drum and ring the bell, my brothers will come immediately." Wukong said, "Then quickly strike the drum and ring the bell!" So, the alligator general went to ring the bell, and the turtle marshal went to beat the drum.

Before long, the sound of the drum and bell indeed alarmed the three Dragon Kings, who quickly arrived. Ao Qin asked, "Elder brother, what urgent matter prompted the drum and bell?" The Old Dragon King said, "Dear brothers, it's embarrassing to say! A Heaven-born Sage from Flower Fruit Mountain came this morning, claiming to be my neighbor. He asked for a weapon, but found the steel fork too small and the halberd too light. Finally, he took a piece of divine iron from the bottom of the Milky Way and wielded it a few times. Now, sitting in the palace, he demands armor. I have none, so I rang the bell and beat the drum to call you here. Do any of you have armor to give him, so we can send him on his way?" Ao Qin, upon hearing this, angrily said, "Let's all go together and take him down!" The Old Dragon King quickly said, "Don't talk about taking him down! That iron rod, a mere touch is deadly, a brush is injurious, and a graze breaks the skin!" The West Sea Dragon King, Ao Run, said, "Second brother, don't fight him; better to gather a set of armor for him, let him leave, and then we can submit a memorial to the Heavenly Court to handle this." The North Sea Dragon King, Ao Shun, said, "That's right. I have a pair of lotus silk cloud-walking shoes." The West Sea Dragon King, Ao Run, said, "I brought a set of golden chainmail armor." The South Sea Dragon King, Ao Qin, said, "I have a phoenix-feathered purple-gold cap." Hearing this, the Old Dragon King happily invited them into the Crystal Palace to meet and presented these items to Wukong. Wukong donned the golden cap, golden armor, and cloud-walking shoes, swung his Ruyi Bang, and left, exclaiming to the dragons, "Noisy! Noisy!" The Four Sea Dragon Kings were quite displeased and discussed submitting a memorial to the Heavenly Court to resolve the matter.

See the Monkey King, parting the waters, returning straight to the Iron Bridge. With a leap, he was back on land. There, four old monkeys, along with a group of little monkeys, were waiting by the bridge. Suddenly, they saw Wukong jump out of the water, completely dry and gleaming with golden light, as he walked onto the bridge. The monkeys were so awestruck that they knelt down and exclaimed, "Great King, how majestic! How majestic!" With a beaming face, Wukong sat on his throne and placed the iron rod upright in the center. The monkeys, unaware of its power, all tried to lift the treasure, but it was like a dragonfly trying to shake an iron treecompletely immovable. Each one bit their fingers, stuck out their tongues, and said, "Grandfather! How did you manage to carry something so heavy back?" Wukong stepped forward, opened his hand, grabbed it effortlessly, and said with a smile, "Every treasure has its rightful owner. This treasure has been in the sea treasury for countless years, only shining today. The Dragon King thought it was just a piece of black iron, calling it the 'Heavenly River Stabilizing Divine Iron.' None of them could move it, so they invited me to take it myself. At first, it was over two zhang long and as thick as a rice bowl; I found it too big, so it shrank. I found it still too big, and it shrank again; once more, I found it too big, and it shrank once more. Looking closely, there was an inscription reading, 'Ruyi Jingu Bang, weighing 13,500 pounds.' Stand back, and I'll make it change again." He tossed the treasure in his hand and shouted, "Small! Small! Small!" Instantly, it transformed into an embroidery needle, small enough to tuck behind his ear. The monkeys were amazed and shouted, "Great King! Take it out and play with it again!" The Monkey King indeed took it from his ear, placed it on his palm, and called, "Big! Big! Big!" Immediately, it returned to its original size, as thick as a rice bowl and two zhang long. He played joyfully, jumped onto the bridge, walked out of the cave, wielded the treasure, and used his divine powers to grow as tall as the heavens. With a bent waist, he shouted, "Grow!" Instantly, he became ten thousand feet tall, with a head like Mount Tai, a waist like a steep ridge, eyes like lightning, a mouth like a blood basin, and teeth like swords and halberds. The rod in his hand reached up to the Thirty-Three Heavens and down to the Eighteen Levels of Hell, terrifying all the tigers, leopards, wolves, and insects on the mountain, and the demon kings of the Seventy-Two Caves, making them bow and kowtow in fright, their souls scattering. In a moment, he withdrew his form and returned the treasure to an embroidery needle, tucked it behind his ear, and returned to his cave. The demon kings from all the caves hurriedly came to pay their respects.

Our Monkey King decided to host a grand banquet, with gongs and drums, creating a lively atmosphere. The tables were laden with delicious food, coconut wine, and grape wine, and everyone ate and drank to their heart's content. After the feast, the Monkey King resumed training his monkey army. He appointed four old monkeys as "Generals" and gave two red-bottomed horses the title of "Horse and Flow Marshal," while two long-armed gibbons were made "Beng and Ba Generals." All matters of setting up camp and meting out rewards and punishments were entrusted to these four generals. As for the Monkey King himself, he relaxed, riding the clouds and mist, traveling across the four seas, exploring every mountain and river. He showcased his martial arts everywhere, befriending heroes and gaining many friends, thoroughly enjoying himself.

During this time, Wukong befriended six brothers: the Bull Demon King, the Dragon Demon King, the Roc Demon King, the Lion Camel King, the Macaque King, and the Baboon King. Including himself, the Handsome Monkey King, there were seven brothers in total. They gathered daily, discussing literature and martial arts, drinking and making merry, playing music and singing, creating a lively scene. For them, a journey of ten thousand miles was as easy as strolling in their backyard, with distances of thousands of miles being negligible.

One day, the Monkey King instructed the four generals to prepare a banquet in his cave, inviting the six brothers for drinks. They slaughtered cattle and horses, offered sacrifices to heaven and earth, and the demons sang and danced, drinking until they were thoroughly intoxicated. After sending off the six brothers, the Monkey King rewarded the leaders, then leaned against a pine tree by the Iron Bridge and dozed off. The four generals, along with the monkeys, surrounded him, not daring to make a noise. At that moment, the Monkey King dreamed of two individuals holding a document with the name "Sun Wukong" on it. Without a word, they bound him with a rope and took his soul away, leading him stumbling to the edge of a city.

The Monkey King sobered up a bit and looked up to see an iron plaque hanging on the city wall, with the words "Netherworld" written on it. Only then did the Handsome Monkey King realize where he was and thought, "The Netherworld is where the King of Hell resides. How did I end up here?" The two individuals said, "Your time on earth is up, and we've been ordered to fetch your soul." Upon hearing this, the Monkey King angrily retorted, "I, Old Sun, have already transcended the Three Realms and am outside the Five Elements, beyond your jurisdiction. How dare you try to take me?" The two soul-fetchers ignored him and insisted on dragging him inside. Enraged, the Monkey King pulled out his Ruyi Jingu Bang from his ear, and with a light wave, it grew as thick as a bowl. He raised his hand and smashed the two soul-fetchers into a pulp, then untied the rope and stormed into the city with his staff. The ox-headed and horse-faced demons scattered in all directions, and the ghost soldiers hurriedly ran to report to the Hall of Judgment, "My King! Trouble! A hairy-faced thunder god has broken in!"

The ten Kings of the Underworld immediately dressed and went out to meet him. Seeing Wukong's fierce demeanor, they quickly lined up and respectfully called out, "Immortal, please leave your name! Immortal, please leave your name!" The Monkey King said, "Since you don't know me, how dare you send people to fetch me?" The ten kings quickly said, "We wouldn't dare; it must have been a mistake." The Monkey King said, "I am Sun Wukong, the Heaven-born Sage of the Water Curtain Cave on Flower Fruit Mountain. What are your positions?" The ten kings respectfully replied, "We are the ten generations of Kings of the Underworld." Wukong said, "Report your names quickly, lest I strike you!" The ten kings hastily reported their names: "We are King Qinguang, King Chujiang, King Songdi, King Wuguan, King Yanluo, King Pingdeng, King Taishan, King Dushi, King Biancheng, and King Zhuanlun." Wukong angrily said, "Since you are kings, you should understand reason. I, Old Sun, have cultivated immortality and achieved the Dao, living as long as the heavens, beyond the Three Realms and outside the Five Elements. Why did you send people to capture me?" The ten kings quickly said, "Immortal, please calm your anger. There are many with the same name and surname in the world; it might have been an error by the soul-fetchers." Wukong said, "Nonsense! As the saying goes, 'Officials make mistakes, but the visitors do not.' Bring the Book of Life and Death for me to see!" The ten kings immediately invited the Monkey King to the hall to inspect the books.

Our Wukong, holding his Ruyi Jingu Bang, ascended to the Hall of Judgment and sat in the central position. The ten Kings of the Underworld quickly ordered the judge to bring out all the Books of Life and Death for inspection. The judge dared not delay and hurriedly brought out a heap of books from the office, checking them one by one. They found that in the registers for naked creatures, hairy creatures, feathered creatures, insects, and scaly creatures, there was no mention of Sun Wukong's name. Finally, in the register for monkeys, Wukong found his own name, discovering that he was a Heaven-born Stone Monkey with a lifespan of 342 years.

After seeing this, Wukong thought, "I don't remember how long I'm supposed to live, but as long as I erase my name, it will be fine." So he asked the judge to hand him a pen, and the judge quickly presented a pen and ink. Wukong took the pen and erased all the names of the monkeys listed in the register. Then he tossed the book aside and said, "There! From now on, I am no longer under your control!" With that, he brandished his golden staff and stormed out of the Netherworld. The ten Kings of the Underworld dared not stop him and had no choice but to consult with the Bodhisattva Kitigarbha for a solution.

Wukong charged out of the city gate, but suddenly tripped over a clump of grass and took a tumble, waking up with a startit had all been a dream. He stretched lazily, hearing the four generals and the monkeys exclaim, "Great King, how much did you drink? You've been asleep for quite a while!" Wukong said, "Not only was I sleeping, but I also dreamed that someone came to fetch me and took me to the Netherworld. In the dream, I displayed my divine powers, stormed the Hall of Judgment, and checked our Book of Life and Death, erasing all instances of my name. From now on, we are no longer under their control." Upon hearing this, the monkeys quickly kowtowed in gratitude. From then on, the monkeys on the mountain lived long lives, as their names were no longer in the records of the Underworld.fter Wukong recounted his dream experience, the four generals went to inform the demon kings of the various caves, and everyone came to celebrate. Soon, Wukong's six brothers also came to congratulate him. Upon hearing about the erasure of his name from the Book of Life and Death, they were all overjoyed, gathering every day to eat, drink, and have fun.

Meanwhile, in the heavens, the Jade Emperor was holding an early morning court session in the Lingxiao Palace, gathering all the civil and military celestial officials. At this time, a true man presented a report: "Your Majesty, the Dragon King Ao Guang of the East Sea has submitted a memorial." The Jade Emperor ordered him to enter. After Ao Guang came to the hall and paid his respects, the celestial attendant took the memorial, and the Jade Emperor read it. The memorial stated:

"I, Ao Guang, a minor dragon minister of the East Ocean in the Eastern Continent of the Water Element, humbly report to the Great Heavenly Sage, the Supreme Celestial Emperor: Recently, the demon immortal Sun Wukong of the Water Curtain Cave on Flower Fruit Mountain has been bullying us minor dragons, occupying our aquatic dwellings, demanding weapons, and displaying his powers, causing chaos among our aquatic tribes. The Dragon Kings of the South Sea, West Sea, and North Sea are all too frightened to speak. I offered him the Divine Iron Staff, the Phoenix Feather Cap, the Chainmail Armor, and the Cloud-Walking Boots to send him away. Yet he continues to flaunt his martial arts, behaving arrogantly and being difficult to deal with. I request Your Majesty to send celestial soldiers to subdue this demon to ensure peace in the world." After reading, the Jade Emperor decreed, "Let the Dragon God return to the sea, and I will send someone to subdue him." Ao Guang thanked the emperor and left.

Next, the Celestial Master Ge Xianweng also presented a report: "Your Majesty, King Qinguang of the Underworld has submitted a memorial on behalf of the Bodhisattva Kitigarbha." The Jade Emperor took the memorial, and after reading it, it stated:

"The Netherworld is the realm of the Earth, where spirits reside, and the cycle of yin and yang turns. Now, the demon monkey Sun Wukong of Flower Fruit Mountain is acting with violence and defiance, refusing to be summoned, killing the Nine Nether Ghosts, and disturbing the ten Kings of the Underworld. He caused a commotion in the Hall of Judgment, forcibly erasing his name, making those of the monkey kind unbound and granting them endless lifespans. We humbly request Your Majesty to send divine soldiers to subdue this demon and restore order to the Underworld." After reading, the Jade Emperor decreed, "Let the King of the Underworld return, and I will send someone to subdue him." King Qinguang thanked the emperor and left.

On that day, the Jade Emperor gathered all the civil and military celestial officials and asked, "When was this demon monkey born, and how did he become so proficient in the Dao?" As soon as he finished speaking, Clairvoyant and Clairaudient stepped forward and said, "This monkey was born as a stone monkey three hundred years ago. At the time, no one paid attention, but who knew that in recent years he had cultivated to become an immortal, capable of subduing dragons and tigers, and even erasing his name from the Book of Life and Death." The Jade Emperor then asked, "Which divine general is willing to descend and subdue him?" At this moment, the Great White Planet stood up and respectfully said, "Your Majesty, any creature with nine orifices in the Three Realms can cultivate to immortality. This monkey was born from the essence of heaven and earth, transformed by the sun and moon's essence, and has already cultivated the Dao. How is he different from humans? I suggest Your Majesty issue a decree of amnesty, invite him to the heavens, and grant him an official position. This way, he can be controlled. If he behaves, he can be promoted and rewarded later; if not, he can be captured when the opportunity arises. This way, we can subdue an immortal without a major conflict." The Jade Emperor was very pleased and said, "Let's do as you suggest." He then ordered the Literary Star Officer to draft the decree and sent the Great White Planet to offer amnesty.

The Great White Planet received the decree, exited the Southern Heavenly Gate, and rode the clouds straight to the Water Curtain Cave on Flower Fruit Mountain. Upon reaching the cave entrance, he told the little monkeys, "I am an envoy from the heavens, carrying a decree, inviting your king to ascend to the heavens." The little monkeys relayed the message layer by layer into the cave, "Great King, an old man outside, carrying a decree, says he is sent from the heavens to invite you." The Handsome Monkey King was overjoyed upon hearing this, "I was just thinking of visiting the heavens, and now an invitation has arrived." He quickly tidied his attire and personally went out to greet him. After the Great White Planet entered the cave and stood still, he said, "I am the Great White Planet from the West, sent by the Jade Emperor to invite you to the heavens and grant you an immortal position." Wukong smiled and said, "Thank you, Old Star, for coming personally." He then instructed the little monkeys, "Prepare a feast to entertain our guest." The Great White Planet said, "I am carrying a decree and dare not linger. Please, Great King, come with me immediately, and after you receive your promotion, we can take our time to chat." Wukong agreed, "Then I shall follow your lead." He called the four generals and instructed, "Train the monkeys well. I'll go to the heavens to see the situation and then bring you up." The four generals agreed. Thus, the Monkey King and the Great White Planet ascended to the heavens. Now, the Monkey King was about to secure a position in the heavens. What position would it be? Stay tuned for the next installment.
