In the past, the army switched to Western-style drills, and even the uniforms and equipment were changed to Western styles, which caused significant problems. Therefore, an order must be issued to all provinces to revert to the original old-style military uniforms. However, I worry that the provinces might be reluctant to change back since they’ve already adapted to the new practices and may find it troublesome, continuing to wear Western uniforms and use Western ranks, which will definitely lead to issues in the future. Thus, I am once again issuing a strict order to all military commanders that they must completely replace everything and revert to the traditional Chinese military uniforms; this is a big deal!
This needs to be done ASAP, as it is crucial! If the provinces are unwilling to change because they’re used to Western equipment, that’s unacceptable. They need to understand this isn’t a trivial matter and could lead to major chaos down the line. Therefore, it must be emphasized repeatedly, urging the top military brass to change all soldiers' clothing, hats, and titles to our previous Chinese styles. This is non-negotiable!
