Yuluo reported the foreigners started it, ambushing us out of the blue. The Emperor was chuffed to read that report. We'd always been on good terms, until this whole mess with the locals boiled over. They used their fancy guns to pound our Dagu Fort and sent troops to attack Zizhu Forest. Thanks to Yuluo rallying the troops and getting the locals on our side, everyone stood up to those foreign guns. On the 21st and 22nd, we sunk two of their ships and gave 'em a good thrashing. Everyone pulled together, morale was high, and the people were right behind us. And the best part? Those Righteous Harmony Fists didn't cost us a penny, not a single soldier. Even kids were helping out, all thanks to a bit of ancestral blessing and divine protection, I reckon.
