From ancient times to the present, the most important thing in governing a country is to have a keen eye and a sharp mind. With rebellion and invasion hitting us at once, everything I've built over the years has been wiped out. Therefore, I know that many disasters lurk in the details, which I failed to notice. The thought of repeating this is terrifying; we must learn from our mistakes! From now on, everyone responsible for reporting to me must always provide suggestions on my mistakes, political errors, and the safety of the people, with complete honesty.
After experiencing this great trauma and pain, if I still dislike hearing criticism and suggestions as before, and prefer to believe in slander and flattery, that would be unforgivable, even for someone like me. If you're not loyal and only offer empty platitudes in a crisis, or worse, use flattery to manipulate me, then you'd have a lot to answer for. As long as you have a conscience, you should not act this way. I need every official, inside and out, to be loyal. We'll overcome this together.
