This is Qingyun, also known as Jingyun. This is a sign of joy, symbolizing peace and prosperity. Another type, known as Changguang, is red and bright like a dragon. It can only be seen when a sage arises or when an emperor passes away.
Now let's talk about the bad omens. The first type is Hongyi, a phenomenon appearing beside the sun. It predicts internal chaos, confusion in the hearts of the people, discord between ruler and subjects, and even situations where the king is plotted against by his subjects or the emperor is suppressed by his concubines, resulting in discord among the emperor's wives and concubines. The second type, called Niu Yangyun, looks like a dog with a long red tail. This is a sign of troubled times, foretelling war and death.
